If so, you will probably experience a loss of power since there would not be enough energy in the engine to turn the turbos. The usual advantage of going to two turbos is to reduce turbo lag. By using two smaller turbos, you reduce the amount of inertia that needs to be overcome, meaning that the turbos will spin up faster. I don't know of anyone who has successfully twin turboed an EA82. Because of the engine compartment layout, it doesn't lend itself to a twin turbo installation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
