myfinalcoffinx Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 I'm having a bit of trouble with my exhaust. It's an EA81. The gasket where the pipe bolts to the flange leaks quite a bit on both sides. I am curious as to where to get 2 new gaskets, their approproiate sizes (distance between bolts, diameter of the hole etc. or a part number) and what kind of sealer to use. As for the sealer you want to get "Ultra Copper" sensor safe high temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. I need to fix a leak coming from a lack of a gasket at the point where the exhaust y pipe bolts to the bottom of the engine. It says in my manual that it bolts directly to the flange.
