OEM from the dealer or a set of KYB GR2 struts. From what I've read the KYB's are just a bit stiffer than the OEM ones. I'm very close to a strut change on my 2000 L & I'll most likely go with the KYB's.

FOR STABILITY. THIS IS MY 1ST SUBBIE IN ABOUT 10 YEARS. NEVER HAD THE $ FOR THE WRX, SPENT MY TIME TUNING CIVICS AND VW'S (I HAVE A 64 BUS THAT MIGHT GET A SUBBIE MOTOR CONVERSION). I'M NOT TRYIN TO "SUPER TUNE" THE FORESTER, JUST SET IT APART FROM THE SOCCER MOMS RIDES. I DIDNT REALIZE HOW MANY WERE AROUND MY TOWN. I STARTED TINTING IT TODAY. TOMORROW I'LL FINISH WITH THE TINT AND START BUILDING A SMALL SPEAKER BOX FOR THE HATCH. NOTHIN CRAZY.... JUST RESPECTABLE. 1999 FORESTER 89K @ $5600-SLIGHTLY SCRATCHED UP AND POORLY SPRAY PAINTED RIMS.....

CAP LOCK'D
Thanks Subbie Gal, I Was Planning On Some Sort Of Anti Sway System. I'm Down With Pickin Up Front And Rear Lower Sway Bars. I Havent See Any Strut Tower Bars (upper). They Made The Biggest Difference On My Honda-the Rear Inpeticular. And I'm Gonna Do Something About The Clutch. It "feels" Very Weak-engages Fine, I Just Feel Like I'm Gonna Break It. I'll Tweek This Subbie....
