05blusub
that the original owner has and may sell for somewhere over $2000. It has 88 thousand miles on it, the body is near perfect and it sounds nice. Interior needs work and she is a smoker. I havent worked on a car since , well, many years, but can get back into it. My question is..what should I look for and listen for when I make her an offer, that is, drive the vehicle. Can I get parts? Is a Brat in good condition worth $2000? [HTi]Johnson
My friend paid $1200 for his brat it has 195,000 miles. It is kinda beat up and different shades of black paint. So I think $2000 would be a good deal for a 88k brat. Does it have the jumpseats?
Phizinza
listen for bearing noise of cause. also when the engine is running take off the oil can and see if any exhaust gases are coming out of there. check the suspension is good, ie if it keeps bouncing after you push the strut up and down a few times it means its bad. also check theres no exhaust gases coming out the radiator. theres lots more you can do, but it sounds like a good ride. and a good price. good luck with it mate
