ARGH. brat gremlin? carburetor...

Featured Replies

i just finished putting another engine in the brat. this one DOESN'T have a cracked head

i kept the car's original intake hooked up and swung it off to the side and swapped long blocks. now (aside from the timing being off) the gas pedal is permanently floored. I can chase down the won't start/timing issue tomorrow, but I don't know much about carburetors and that's kind of the way i like it... I'm pretty certain that the throttle cable is NOT kinked or twisted (unlike me, har har) but i'm going to disconnect/reconnect it tomorrow to make sure.

any ideas about what else might be responsible for this?
