Hodaka Rider
If you could get any 1990 or older JDM Soob, what would it be? I found an importer not far from me, and want to get some opinions. Personally, I'd love a 1993 or newer TT Legacy, but Jap. imports need to be at least 15yrs old. He has a 1990 Turbo Touring wagon right now. Not to mention the Skylines, Toyota Sera, and other interesting machines.

Sweet82
I love the mirrors on the front fenders. Why do they have those and the larger side view mirrors too? Reminds me of the real old Japanese cars. Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 01 Forester
bajavwnsoobnut
have you seen japanese roads? they need them for sure to be able to drive on them
Turbone
I always thought it was for seeing what was coming down the cross streets when you nosed out of the very narrow side streets. You had to be there
critical_max
I want a Bistro! Sorta looks like if a Mini (or a Justy) and an Impreza mated. http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/subaru/bistro/1997_1/photo/14052/
Hodaka Rider
Strange that this has created little interest so far.
SkankinPickle
could the importer ship over just a set of wheels?? If you could get any 1990 or older JDM Soob, what would it be? Hodaka Rider
would i have any trouble in my state if i bought one of his hilux? i've never bought a canadian car before. Hmmmm. Seeing as these are not 'Canadian' cars, not sure how to answer. Maybe the best thing would be to check here . There may be a loophole, as RHD Legacies (in particular, among others) were used in many states as Postal vehicles.

Hodaka Rider
Like I said, they're not Canadian cars. You will have to read the NHTSA info if you are interested in importing one. My intent with this thread was to see if there are any particular cars that I should see if they can get.
DerFahrer
The Bistro apparently is a tweaked-front-end version of the Vivio. There are two other examples of this: The Impreza Casa Blanca (I'm sorry for the picture weirdness, I couldn't find ANY pics online of this car so I had to take a digi pic out of my Impreza Turbo book): Also the Pleo Nesta:
SkankinPickle
ooooooh, how about any set of alloy 14" or 15'' in the 4x140mm lug pattern. preferably these ones (the WRCspirits) or also these please! Made by BMB Technical Research in Japan. Wheel size is 5.5JJ-H2E1 (or ET).
MSSLGECKO
Old Subarus? Hmmm. What would the price on a RX (3DR) be like - or any 80's Subaru for that matter? And, yes, wheels would sell like hot cakes, IMO.
Hodaka Rider
OK, maybe you guys can contact them direct on the wheels and stuff? Here's the link. Ironic that a Mustang specialist also imports sweet J-spec vehicles.
Jack in Norfolk
id take a diesel subaru too. cheaper the better. im serious about this too Sorry if I am a little behind here, but do diesel subarus exist? Are they at all similar to the models we see here? Do they use a similar block? The only diesel sube or anything like it I had heard discussed on this board was a Fuji forklift. Please fill me in. Thanks, -Jack
Turbone
What about RHD rigs for Postal Work? There might be a good market for those. *Edit* I just went to the web site and got my question answered.
