Jack in Norfolk
Was this option available on the gen 2 cars? I have never heard any thing good about this option, but it seems cool to me. I know that you can raise and lower the old cars by tightening the struts and torsion bars, but I didn't know if the push button ride height was available back then. Is it still ungodly expensive to fix when it fails? Would it be possible to add it to a car that did not come equipped? Thanks
carfreak85
I know it wasn't an option in the US. Probably not in Oz, but Japan, maybe. On XT6s and GL-10s fixing a bad air suspension is still pretty damn expensive. Thats a neat idea for a project though!
Jack in Norfolk
I wonder if it would be more cost effective to use aftermarket air bags. I have no idea what they cost or what instalation entails.

We get heaps of jap cars over here, and i've never seen a gen 2 with air suspension. If they did have tehm in Jap, they are rare.
