More dyno time

In the red...my RX, with an intake, STi TMIC, TWE header and Downpipe, deadbolt VF7, and a catted/glass pack'd exhaust ending up at 2 inches behind the 2.5" cat. STOCK BOOST.

in the blue, JWX's RX. BONE STOCK except for a bottomless intake airbox.

And now...

Thats it. The MOST power I could get out of it on a 'stock turbo'...it was a Deadbolt PnP VF7 tho...all stock engine management, injectors, internals...etc...same mods as the above chart tho. Thats with running at a SOLID 15 PSI. It would NOT run any more pressure, NOT AT ALL.

So that translates to 239 HP and 318 TQ at the crank.

Now, its onto a larger turbo...a Deadbolt 13G with a Stromung downpipe...spyder intake manifold, air/water intercooling(or front mount), DIS and Megasquirt EMS...along with some 500+cc injectors. I should beable to surpass 200 AWHP with NO problems at that point.

I would say that right before 5k was the big Fuel cut gremlin. Over all though still very impressive numbers Will!. Few more mods to my RX and I will take it to a dyno here in town. Would take it now to compare but don't have the dollars to be dropping on dyno's. And with my bone stock exhaust I doubt it would be much more than JWX's stock RX (might be less). Keep on impressing us!

What I find impressive looking at the chart comparing JWX to WJM is that even with all the mods to WJM's car, his line is so much smoother than the stock RX except for the dip at 5200rpm. I wonder what caused that at stock boost.
