heep70
Where can I get balljoint boots for my 86 4x4 wagon? I don't need the balljoints just the boots that fit them. They are the balljoints from Subaru. Thanks
NorthWet
IMHO, if you need boots now then you will need balljoints pretty soon. I do not know of any vehicle that you can get separate boots for, but then I have never really looked. Good luck.
heep70
Last year Subaru used to offer just the boots. These are for a set I took out of my old subaru before I sent it to the crusher. They were new, but in order to get them out I ripped the boots. It would be a wast to through them away.

aba4430
http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?pn=721037010 Order one and it is $1.99 shipping, but order 2 together and it is over $8 shipping. The cost of the boot is $2.63 a piece. The number is from a Brat catalog (85-87), but should fit. Regards, aba4430
Steveman09
I just replaced both front ball joints with lifetime warranty autozone's and they were only like $16/each. No reason to try and cut corners on a very important safety item like ball joints on an older car
heep70
They must have to use a giant box to accomidate all the packaging they go in :-\ Thanks for the info.
heep70
http://www.subaruparts.com/cart/?pn=721037010 Order one and it is $1.99 shipping, but order 2 together and it is over $8 shipping. Regards, aba4430 I called them up and they sent me three boots and only charged me a little less then $2.00 for shipping. She said that being I had to pay a tax for living in the state I do she would cut me a break on the shipping. Niiiiicccceeee Hey Turbone, hang onto them boots. Subaru as far as she knows is still providing the boots. Why Puyallup and Tacoma said the opposite I don't know. Maybe they are LAZY?:-\
