You can definatly tell the difference between an 81 and 82 turbo when they are side by side, the hot side on the EA82's is bigger. I bought this as a NEW turboford IHI and got this used one in the mail from an ebay auction.. If anyone knows of a place that I can get a fax/email from confirming it as a Subaru unit,I would greatly appreciate it as paypal wanted a note from a third person,and I have one from the ford dealer confirming the ford IHI as correct. the email for me is distall at lycos.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
