Craven
Here's the cheapest I've found Magnecore wires online: http://www.cyberauto.com/index.php/SubaruImpreza.txt As far as coils: http://www.348-409.com/forum/showthread.php?t=581 Good luck. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=
TheSubaruJunkie
I just got a reply from Magnacore and placed an order with them. I should get the wires by next week. The man sais they are only for XT's, but Im sure XT's have the same EA82 Layout as my RX. The wires cant be any different, right? I read on that page that MSD MAster Blaster II part number 8202 were unreliable and to stay away from them. Looks like im looking for a different coil then. -Brian
thealleyboy
I don't know why there are so many probs crossing Sube parts in those databases. Musta been some misinformation from way back that has never been corrected... As far as wires, you can't go wrong with NGK's. The manufacturer has good info available online. They are probably too detailed, if anything, as they have sets that are perfect fits, and others that are damn close (even though they are not the "correct" application.) If you stick to a proven manufacturer, and educate yourself on the product, you don't have to depend on some ********************* behind the parts counter. Otherwise, you get what you get. "Universal" applications aren't worth the hassles IMO, and are often no cheaper than the correct part, if you know what you are looking for. good luck, John
Hondasucks
I bought a set of Accel 8mm wires for my Subaru, and the dang boots split every time I stuck it ovre the disty, so I returned them and got a set of Autolites, yeah they suck, and they don't fit the in the stock routing, but they work :-P
