MSSLGECKO
So, I just picked up an '84 Brat w/ a set of jump seats ready to go. I need to install these things now. Does anyone know offhand what screws and bolts will be required for the install? Thanks
northguy
The seats bolt onto a frame. The frame is generally welded into the bed.
MSSLGECKO
I have everything except the actual screws and bolts that are required for the install. I just trying to figure out what screws/bolts (sizes) I need to finish the job.

northguy
The bolts in mine are some special head design, probably meant to pass some D.O.T. restrictions. I am not sure of the size and thread coarseness.
ShawnW
Tamperproof Torx, I believe they are a M6 or M8 1.25. I think they are that way to prevent theft.
Flowmastered87GL
Hmmm mine are just normal 10 mm or 12 mm head bolts. Search through your bolt can I bet you can find some that fit. I am willing to bet they are 1.25 pitch as most subaru bolts seem to be. I think the ones that hold everything together are about 1 inch long at the longest. operose
Tamperproof Torx, I believe they are a M6 or M8 1.25. I think they are that way to prevent theft. these bolts are used on a lot of things. generally they are used to prevent theft and/or tampering that could result in a liability suit. you can buy the bits at most hardware stores but you might need to order them online like I did if you need the real small head ones
