Hey guys...looking for a couple of things

1. Rear Vented rotors and semi metallic pads for my impreza...well the rears are from a 94 legacy...Cheap is best...even if i dont get the rotors the pads would be great..

2. A rally vent...not a dumb scoop but the flush mount vent that seals and you open up and such....cheap is best on this one too :)

Think thats it for now..

Bye

to use the vented legacy rotors, you will need to get the legacy rear calipers and brackets, trust me, they will not fit the stock calipers. last i checked, i think legacy777 was sellinga set of rear brakes. i would have bought em, but i had some financial issues.

as for the roof vent, i think that rallitek.com might have it.

it depends on the pads, ive seen some high end pads that are semi-metalic and dont squeal or dirty the rims. you have to remember, you get what you pay for.

granted, i am under the impresison that the rear brakes are useless, mine are completely gone and the car still stops on a dime and makes change.

semi-mettalic's will squeal forever.... soo annoying...

i switched to a set of ceramic compound ones an never been happier.they cost me about $37.bucks but came with a life time warranty.if they ever faid to a certain measurement,i get a new set.only prob i had is they make your rotors blackish and you have a chance of chewing up your stock rotors if you do alot of hard braking.i guess that's why the parts store guy mentioned that i should think about some aftermarket rotors like crossdrilled or slotted.

i had those in my 92 will gonna have to pick up a set for my 94.stopping distince was shortened.

the best option for better braking in an impreza is to swap the front brakes for stock wrx brakes. i think the calipers are bit larger and there are more options as far as high performance pads and rotors. you can usually get a slightly used set for cheap on nasioc.com or ebay.
