DerFahrer
Just curious guys, how hard is it to find new parts for cars of your vintage? Specific stuff, like EGR valves, interior pieces, etc. If you have a clutch go out, are there 3 new ones waiting at the Discount down the street, or do you have to wait 3 months for the dealer to locate it since it's probably been discontinued?? TIA!
75subie
good interior parts are pretty hard to find.alot of mechanical parts are available right from autozone believe it or not.exhausts are hard to find.usually you can find what you need, either here or ebay.are you looking to buy? YellowSub
I haven't had to look for a lot, but I've had good luck with some interior parts from the dealer. He had to do a little searching, but I was able to get what I needed for my '78.
DerFahrer
are you looking to buy? Possibly. I just want to be sure that if I do, I can get parts for it and not be stuck with a big hunk of metal that I can't fix.
Seahag1978
Possibly. I just want to be sure that if I do, I can get parts for it and not be stuck with a big hunk of metal that I can't fix. It's not so much the finding of the parts (that's fairly easy) as to finding which parts are needed to fix the problem.
