Any info leading to the capture of said person will be greatly appreciated. Took my RX and hasn't returned calls...and hasn't paid a dime.I just hope there's a really good excuse because he's been a good guy up to this point.I'm getting very tired and frustrated over this matter. "alcyone31" was his name on the last board. Please respect all deals made between board members and if you can't pay at least communicate. I'm currently behind on paying a couple of people for small items and behind with shipping items people have paid for.BUT....I at least communicate and let them know I haven't forgotten them. moosens Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 THe title was never in my name.I got it from a guy who also didn't own it.THe title was around,I think "Alcyone31" might have it,signed by the last owner...which with a forged Bill of Sale could get registered here in CT....but I don't think this car is being reg'd. He needed the tranny in a bad way,so he said. I looked and haven't seen the title.It was a VERY rushed night that night.I was leaving on vacation the next morning and was hustling cars out.Andrew from CT came down that night.I think he was leaving when Alcyone31 was arriving....tow guy was there...someone else for construction items....it was crazy and I wish now that I just ticked the damn car away on a street and hoped for the best. You know,I'm very understanding.Folks are cool with me.Right now I owe someone for an EGR,he's been very cool...most of the time we're all cool about payments,etc...... Funny how the guy was very cool up to this point.Makes you wonder. I don't know why someone would make trouble over a lousy $300 car.RX or otherwise it's a pig that will NEVER be restored,and has 185k on it. Evan if you read this just call me and work something out.I want those alloys.It's spoiling 2 full sets.:madder: And if you can't come up with $300 taake out the LSD for me and give me $150 and I'll be happy. moosens Posted September 11, 2003 Share Posted September 11, 2003 Thanks for the advice but.....it's been dozens of phone calls and over 2 months since I saw my RX and my alloys(3 of one kind,1 of another)which is screwing up 2 full sets of alloys not to mention the stinkin' $300.He knew I was only going to be away for a few days and that I NEEDED the money when I got back. THe sockchucker is still around.He knows I'm looking for him.He may even see this post. You know people meet me now and think I'm just a decent,mellow guy(stop laughing!!).Like Eric Z and a few others I'm sure,I have a darker past that I'd rather not go back to with 2 kids,a mortgage,and somewhat decent life in hand.I could blah blah blah about what I might do or could do but why?Long story short,he'll be happier to deal with a police officer,judge,and prosicutor than me at 3AM.You get to the point where you realize that you're paying bills and struggling and to have this crap happen it really leans you over the edge.But for my wife and kids I'll surely try not to fall over. Also - if you have any correspondence on the matter (emails - threads from this board), print that and take it along so you have *some* proof that he was supposed to buy it from you. Too bad he has the title. Maybe it's still in the car - got a slim jim? I would probably find him, and steal the car back. It's not like he's gonna go to the cops now is it? I always try to put as much faith as possible in others, but people like alcyone, or whatever his actual name is, ruin it for the rest of us. I hope this all works out for moosens in the end. Went to the local dealer that he also visits.He told the parts guy that he's moved.He's coming back for parts so the parts guy will get his address. I've given the guy the benefit of the doubt.I really doubt that he hasn't checked his voice mail.Good guy up to this point.I'm really feeling bad about saying anything about 3AM and whatnot.I'll play the legal game first but we all know there'll be some catch.The victim is often the loser in cases like this.That's when I'll get ugly,if that happens. I can't find the title but do have a Bill of sale rom the previous owner.Also,he doesn't have any Bill of sale from me so he'd have to forge one which would piss me off enough to make me pop.
