I got it from my grand dad, it's like petrol without the additives he said. It works wonders, but I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else... I'd try chemicals to soften it, then scrap at it. NoahDL88 Posted June 20, 2005 Share Posted June 20, 2005 seeing as how you've already used a screw driver, you've probably ruined the paint already, try Goof off, or goo begone, i'm not 100% if its safe on paint, but it should take the glue off. samo Posted June 20, 2005 Share Posted June 20, 2005 3M Adhesive Cleaner will do wonders. It's safe on cured paint, too. Just take a rag, soak it, and hold it on the area for a minute or two. Then, with a credit card (preferably your wife/girlfriend's) or a Bondo squeegee or some smooth, relatively sharp piece of plastic, scrape the adhesive away.
