emblem glue removal

Recommended Posts

try putting metho on it then scrap it off? I have this really good stuff that softens just about anything. I got it from my grand dad, it's like petrol without the additives he said. It works wonders, but I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else...

I'd try chemicals to soften it, then scrap at it.

3M Adhesive Cleaner will do wonders. It's safe on cured paint, too. Just take a rag, soak it, and hold it on the area for a minute or two. Then, with a credit card (preferably your wife/girlfriend's) or a Bondo squeegee or some smooth, relatively sharp piece of plastic, scrape the adhesive away. Your thumb will also do wonders for removing the adhesive.
