Blue84Hatch
I installed new strut tops quite a while back on my EA81 hatch. I was just wondering if that little arrow by the 4WD stamp should be facing the front of the vehicle or the firewall??

Blue84Hatch
yea thats what I thought. Thats how I have them installed. I was mainly wondering because the lift kit I put on has some funny looking camber issues. I just wanted to rule that out as a problem. Also my engine is out of the car right now. I guess that could be contributing to the excessive camber to. It looks like this.
Ross
Your camber will look much better when you get the engine in and let the suspension settle.
mcbrat
also, on ea81's, I've beaten the snot out of the inner strut well area, and ground away at the strut lift block to slide it as close to the engine as I can I have 4" blocks, struts are adjusted all the way up, and I have RX springs (to counteract the weight of the bumper/winch) and my camber is near perfect.... I do have a lot of weight to settle it, but I still have 9" clearance under the skid plate low point....
Blue84Hatch
wow impressive!! I will try try that once I test the lift how it is. I just bought some 29" SS TSLs and am waiting on rims. Yeaaa!!!! Thanks for the tips.
