Adrian d
Can't find my Chilton's Manual!! Need to get the car back together to leave for vacation. Would someone please tell me the tightening torque for the bolts that hold the caliper, as well as the two that hold the caliper mounting braket to the backing plate? Thanks for the help in advance. NorthWet
What model, what year? General information seems to be: Caliper bracket to spindle 25-33 ft-lbs I don't know about the caliper mount bolts.

Found the manual and you are right on the mark. Thanks for the help. Adrian d
NorthWet
Glad things worked out. Luckily, Subaru being Subaru, there wasn't much variance in torque values for different years/models.
Setright
Sounds a bit low for the caliper bracket. I believe I torque these to 75Nm, which is more like 55ft.lbs. Those bolts are quite large for a reason. The sliding bolts take only 25-33 ft.lbs
