spinsirs
i took off the right cv because it was making a bad thumping noise. would it be bad to drive the car with only one cv hooked up and just use the rear wheels for power?
Caboobaroo
When I got my '78 Brat, it had a blown DOJ on it so I rolled around in RWD since I got it. The axle got broken off inside the CV as well so I pulled it out just leaving the stub to hold the hub and brake rotor on. It won't do any harm to the car but it does make it more fun to drive. I know I could get mine totally sideways heading down the road;) Plus with the front wheel ebrake, makes for some awesome burnouts:burnout:

Caboobaroo
you bet you butt its fun! Mine would spin cookies in parking lots with the original motor in it. After I dropped the JDM motor into it, I could sit at a stop light with the ebrake on and smoke the tires back and forth. It also would light the rear end up posi even though I haven't a clue why. Maybe its cause there hardly any weight in the rear?
