Successful RallyX weekend for local Subes

Recommended Posts

Two rallycrosses in one weekend. Brooklyn, WA site was awesome and lots of fun; the ride out along 8 miles of fine gravel was worth the entry fee all by itself. ORG event on Sunday at Hillsboro, OR featured a fine course set up by Paul Eklund again. More news and results after I get some sleep and can get some verification from others; others are certainly welcome to post to this thread.

My guess on posting is much longer than what was stated Sunday.

Scott stated a couple of days but I know that the web master is

swamped with priority work problems right now and unless someone

will step up to help (and that is doubtful) it could be a week or so.

I hope I am wrong but there is a lot going on with ORG and SCCA

right now....

Results are usually posted at http://www.oregonrally.com/but don't hold your breath since the previous poster is correct on the timing of results posting. Lots of our group were there. Qman, Zap, 84soob, the Rallitech group, glcraiggt, edrach (and #3 son, jrach). Our group collected a number of trophies in various classes but I don't want to post that until I see the final results.

I wanted to come but had 2 previous (more important) engagements.

#1, getting a new/better job.

#2 Helping part out a FWD sedan.

Not sure if the GL woulda held up as I seemed to break something every race last year and this year the control rod bushings at toast. A pothole makes for some very loud banging under the car. (dont worry only 1 more week of pizza then I can go easy on it)

My new job of selling cars wont let me out for rallycrosses much :banghead:

But... maybe if I ask enough in advance I can get like half the day off.

Hey Ed my Wagon is an 84, I wouldn't call that early EA81
Why not, I think that Subaru still makes the EA81 for some foreign markets. It was available up till 89 in the USA. I guess mid EA81 would be a better term.
