The same problem i have 2 days ago and problem is that 2 of diodes are damaged. I've replaced but the problem is that my alternator is not gharging. Cougar Posted July 4, 2005 Share Posted July 4, 2005 The reason the warning lights come on also is because they are in the exciter circuit for the alternator. Replacing the alternator, like Tim said, should take care of the problem. You may also want to check for any voltage drop on the alternator output wire to the positive battery post.
