subie94
i was told that some auto parts/body repair stores have a polish you can buy to remove haze and clear things up. fortunatly i haven't needed to deal with it on my 94 legacy.but i did have that prob on my 92 legacy, though i never took care of it. welcome aboard, hope that all your questions will be anwsered. Olnick
Welcome, woody. Josh (Legacy777) did a nice writeup on cleaning headlights a while back. Use the search function and you should be able to find it.
Andyjo
This happened to me once, but it turned out being water on the inside lens of the headlight. I just poped out the bulb & stuff, and let it dry out. It was fine after that.

FlyFlicker
McQuire's and a couple of others make a plastic cleaner/polisher that works fairly well. I've found that rubbing compound works like a charm at removing oxidation and polishing the plastic. I use 3M's fine grit and apply it twice. The first is dry, just like you would on paint. The second is with a water soaked towel. Then apply a clearcoat prep to the lenses and buff. Do this two or three times a year to keep your lenses clear and prevent oxidative damage to the plastic. hooziewhatsit
toothpaste & some elbow grease worked pretty well on my dads '92 legacy.

All_talk
You can find my post near the end of that long LegacyCentral thread (page 5), short version here... Wet sand with progressive grits, 400 - 1500, finish with compound and buffer. Gary
