ironboy789
I would like to know if 15" wheels will fit my '98 Forester. (?) My father-in-law has some great mud and snow tires for 15", not 16", wheels. Will thes smaller rims interfere with brakes or steering components? Where do look for these wheels? Anybody................ Thanks, Dan in Milwaukee.
jamal
I think they'll fit, but it'd be best to just try putting one on a front wheel.
gbhrps
Ironboy789, The only problem will be if the 15 inch rims will clear your front calipers. If they do, and the new wheel offset is the same as your 16 inch wheels, then you're set to go.
ironboy789
I'll give it a try. Thanks. These are some serious mud and snow tires, I hate to see them just sitting in the garage. outback_97
Two things: 1) We're assuming those are 15" Subaru rims, right? 2) Your Forester came with 15" rims stock, so yes Subaru 15's should fit. What do you have on there now that's 16"? Unless a previous owner upgraded the rotor size and the wheels too... ??? Steve
