Midwst
I think there is a chance I can save my legacy after all. Need to know if the crankshaft pulley part number for the newer 1998 Legacy 2.2 or 2.5 will fit my 1991 Legacy. since this part has rubber in it, would like something that is not 15 years old...if possible. Don't have a part # for you. But I just ordered mine through Super Rupair in Boulder for $40. I didn't have anything for them but my year, model and engine code. Willing to bet they could do the same for you. Also, are you sure you FUBAR'd the crank? I was responsible about stopping after the belts came off. Apparently I ground off the woodruff key, but the cranks can be re-keyed pretty cheaply. 1.5 hours of labor according to my mechanic.
99obw
Go to http://www.libertysubaru.com and search their online parts catalog. It appears that 12305AA242 fits both cars.
Midwst
actually, the crankshaft is fine, I think...but pulley isnt spinning evenly, I think its worn out...but car is also not running right..maybe once I fix that problem the pulley will settle down and spin true. No noise in crankcase What is contact phone number for this Super Rupair in Boulder? Is it a junkyard?
