Ross
This is for my ea81t. The valve faces are not perfectly straight, but they have not worn so far that there is a sharp edge. Just looking for others experiences on this matter, whether i should bother spending more $$ on replacing the valves or just give them a good grind up. Also, one of my manuals (its crap) says the valve guides are non replacable??? They look replacable, are they?
MorganM
Just grind them down so they seat properly again and so the faces arent all pitted up. A machine shop will tell you if they are too far gone to grind them down. Or if you have a caliper and FSM specs you could check them all yourself. MudisFun
I will always try to grind the valves and seats down, you will know if they are worth it only when you are able to see the grinding pattern. If you come up a couple short I know I have a hand full of good ones.
