Sweet82
Welcome to the board! Your in the right place for old Subies. I'd leave the motor alone and just drive it... However if you wanna swap motors an EJ22 comes to mind? Good Luck, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer 84 GL Wagon 01 Forester
fbh
*evil laugh* I have an '89 GL, how hard would it be to get an EJ22 in there? I can pick one up with very low miles on it for about US$

stumpy
Welcome to the board! Have an 84GL my self. Working on pulling the engine today and starting my AA 4" lift kit if the rains don't chase me off! Not that I need to pull the engine to get the lift on but as I'm doing the EJ22 trans plant and its coming out of there any way figured it might be easier that way. You can always pick up a second one to mod! Again welcome, Stumpy
