Dickensheets
Hi all, the dealer wants $120 for one and various online prices are roughly half of that. What is the best course of action here. Anyone recently go through this? Ryan '97 OBW
edrach
Water pump is one of the items I prefer to go OEM with. Try www.1stsubaruparts.com. This is a dealer in Auburn, WA and they have the best parts department and prices I've found for OEM parts. If the website is too much of a pain (it is for me) call their 800 # and ask for Jason or Parts. Hi all, the dealer wants $120 for one and various online prices are roughly half of that. gbrand
i got mine for 91 legacy at Oriellys and replaced at 180K with timng belt. Think it was about 40 plus core but that was a couple years ago. Still doing fine at almost 250K.
Setright
Yep, stick with genuine parts for this one. That pump is run by the cambelt and that means a bad pump bearing can lead to total engine failure. Not worth the risk.
