skeet
Yes, yet another fun and exciting Slave Cylinder thread where someone asks the same question and everyone either gives somewhat the same answer or points them to an older thread. But not today!!!1 Today we're dealing with a whole new idiot, me. I've got the standard squishy stupid clutch pedal, and I am about to drive 4500 miles to alaska, so I want to get it fixed. I'd like to bleed it, or replace it, except for one problem: I'm a total noob and don't know where it is or how to get to it. So could someone please give me some good instructions on how to locate this stupid thing? Approximate size, shape, what it likes for dinner, you know, normal stuff. And of course the best way to bleed it without a fancey gadget. Help? edit - 99OBW (durrrr me)
skeet
So I got annoyed with myself for not being able to figure out what was going on and figured it out. Figured out what the slave was, took one look at it and decided to replace it before the 4,500 mile drive to Alaska, heh. Got a new one on the way for $36.00. Any tips on the swap?
