Do It Sidewayz
ventilation! open windows let in mud/dirt/wind and add drag! oh, and what did you mount the upright part of your hoodpins into, sidewayz? For the hoodpins. i remove the stock rubber bumper type things, and drill those holes a little larger to insert the pins. Then on the hood you have an exact idea where they go. For the actual "clip" part of it that screws to the hood. I did just that, Used the supplied screws and screwed them right into the hood. Ventilation is a good thing, especially when you are wearing 3 layer nomex and a helmet, and it's almost 30 degrees out. The roofscoop is from a Transport truck. i bought the entire kit for like 30 bucks CDN. I needed to use one that stuck up from the roof about 1.5" as i have a cage bar right there. You can get surface mount ones, but they come into the cabin about 4 inches. It works great, and seems to keep the rain out!
