TheSubaruJunkie
first of all DO NOT ENGAGE 4WD ON DRY PAVEMENT!!! Do it in the dirt, mud, ice or snow. You want to make sure each wheel has at least 10% slip. If you do not, you will bind the transmission and may cause some problems later down the road. In order to test it, find some dirt. Peel out in FWD. Then hit the button. Peel out in 4WD. You should tell a difference. -Brian

TheSubaruJunkie
You shouldnt have a problem doing it in Dirt or gravel. Believe me... even the crappy AT's can do it. -Brian
