Be sure to drain all the coolant out first. Or you'll get a face full of coolant when you pop that hose off! :eek:

 

It's a simple repair. Just besure you dont put it in upside down! Note how the old one comes out as you are taking it out.

What sort of temp problems are you having?

 

Was the cooling system properly bled? There is a bleed screw on the top of the passenger side of the radiator.

 

Also, if you replace the thermostat, you need to replace it with an OEM subaru t-stat. aftermarket ones are shaped/sized different, and cause issues.
