SakoTGrimes
I tapped the brakes on a hill in the 92 4WD Loyale and nothing happened. I know nothing about hill holder, does my car even have it? How do I adjust it?
samo
Clutch has to be in all the way, and I have to press pretty hard on the brakes to activate it. There's an adjustment for it... but I'm blanking out on how to adjust it.
EYE_WHY
When on an incline with clutch in, press the brakes almost all the way in. Take your foot off the brake and the clutch should hold your place. Neat feature, don't know how to adjust it though. Also, I think it only works on an incline, not a decline. Humble Nuto 53
i recently replaced the shoes in the 3dr, and suddenly the hill-holder was workin. so you might check that, or adjust your shoes.....

sregor13
You would adjust it the same way you adjust the cluctch. ON the back side of the clutch fork is a cable that goes to your brake cylinder. Just loosen it or tighten it as needed. The Hill Holder cable is opposite the Clutch cable. So you may need to tweak the Clutch adjustment as well- not sure Thanks
