Turbone
It just came to me, there was a guy at WCSS3 with a XT6 that had paddle wheels. Qman actually bought what was left of the car this year after the owner rolled it. Him and Zap got rides, they have stories about that.
NorthWet
I was thinking more like, "How the @#$% could you fit any tall tires under your lowrider???"

oddcomp
my street tires hi range 4wd and no center diff combined with the lsd seemed to do fairly well... doesn't wanna turn fer crap at higher speeds .. but straight line seemed to do good at least i can do a clutch dump in a sand/dirt drag strip and prolly not break anything provided i get my bracket made to keep the intercooler from slapping the fire wall and yes if i do partcipate there will be a person there with my digi videocam so i can made a video of it an post it online

Turbone
I was thinking more like, "How the @#$% could you fit any tall tires under your lowrider???" Uh, my "other one" is stock. I think I still have some rear air shocks, it would need something different up front tho.

oddcomp
so i went back out to the track to go do a few test runs now that i have my overkill pitch stopper bracket built i wanted to make sure i could at least do decent-ish before i went and played in front of people and from a 3k launch in low 4 and shifting about 4k-4500 by about 1/2 to 3/4 track in really soft dirt/sand mix i can hit 55 .. so i figure with that kinda result if during the drags i let it wind out a bit more i might not do half bad depending on who/what i am up against oh and this is on street tires .. those that have seen my wagon at wcss 6 and the rx at the tail end of wcss 7 can prolly attest to the fact that i am indeed running street tires so will i be the only suby out there? come on i need a cheering section lol
Scoobywagon
I don't currently have a running car suitable for sand drags, but I'll see what I can do about having the 24th off. I'll come cheer you on!
Snowman
It just came to me, there was a guy at WCSS3 with a XT6 that had paddle wheels. Qman actually bought what was left of the car this year after the owner rolled it. Him and Zap got rides, they have stories about that. Those were standard ag tires from the looks of it. You should be able to find some pretty easy, and they should hook up like a mofo in the sand.
