DerFahrer
Where is it exactly? My reverse lights don't work on my XT, both bulbs are good, and from what the fuse box tells me, there is only one fuse for the entire light assembly in the rear, which is good. So I deduce that it's my back-up-light switch... Location and any tips for replacement? Or if you think it's something else? TIA...
baccaruda
i think the switch is in the tranny. are all of your related wiring connections clean?
DerFahrer
According to the Haynes manual (which we all know is the most accurate automotive literature on the planet :brolleye: ) the back-up-light switch is screwed into the transfer case on a 4WD model. I haven't looked closely under there yet, but while I'm there finding it, I will check all connections, etc etc, before going and buying the part...
