88HatchMonster Posted September 12, 2005 Share Posted September 12, 2005 Hi, I'm doing an EJ18 swap from an 94 impreza with an auto tranny into an 88 hatch. Does anyone know what extra steps I'm going to have to take to wire the thing in since I pulled from an auto tranny car? Would it be easier just to get a computer from a manual tranny car? NoahDL88 Posted September 12, 2005 Share Posted September 12, 2005 apparantly its only about 35 more wires, and you can remove all of them, i'm 99% sure. try the adapter "kit" from kennedy engineering, they have a very nice print out to make it real easy.
