stickedy
Hello! I have the possibility to buy a Leone L1800 from 1989 (160.000 km) with hydro-pneumatic suspension and turbo charged (EA82T) for a few bucks (200 Euro). I already own a L1800 from 1986 (normal EA82) and love the cars, but I'm a bit sceptical with this hydro-pneumatic suspension. Is this system reliably? And is there anything I should have a look at? Would be nice if you could post a few impressions if you own a car with this system. Thanks & greetings from germany Stefan
GLCraig
The pneumatic suspension are a mixed bag. It may last the life of the Subaru or it may fail 5 minutes after you buy it. If you like everything else about that Subaru, then buy it. Once the pneumatics go bad, replace them with the standard front struts and rear coil-over shocks.
