anonym00se
First of all, thanks for all the help from this board for helping me figure out how to remove the window crank handles in my 87 GL wagon. Now that I can remove them and see the gears, what do you suggest for lubricating the window hardware, gears, etc? I am thinking a little shot of WD40. One of my windows can be a little difficult to roll up especially when the weather is a bit on the cold side. Thanks to all the fine folks at USMB! nipper
White lithium grease. WD40 is a lubricant, not a grease, and will wear out with time. Same with hinges etc etc. nipper

It stands for water discplacement formula #40 That is why it doesnt last. why dont people understand that? all its good for is getting water out of locks and distys
