4x4moose
i'm getting ready to replace the lifter or lifters on the drive side. just wondering what i'm getting myself in to. is this something that can be done in a couple of hours?
Snowman
You have to take off the cam tower and the timing belt on that side, among other things. I would guess it'd take an afternoon on your first time, but I would budget a day just in case. (Not saying you're slow or anything, you just want to have plenty of time in case it takes a while.) torxxx
yeah I agree with kelly.. IF everythign goes right and the t-belt covers come right off, 2 hours. Clean up the cam case where the silicone goes real good with a razor and brake cleaner. make sure you have the O-rings that go between the head and the cam tower.
