Snowman Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I have found the Haynes manuals reasonably helpful. They provide decent step-by-step procedures for most maintenance. Hendrik Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 For my 1986 4Wd turbo wagon automatic , the : Haynes manual was/is 80 % worthwhile , 20 % worthless Chilton 60 % worthwhile , 40 % worthless Try also : http://www.ausubaru.com/main There you find some scans from original subaru manuals , off course with the steering wheel on the wrong side .... critical_max Posted October 22, 2005 Share Posted October 22, 2005 I have Chilton's and Haynes and at different times one will have good info that the other does not; also they have different photos, supplementary info and such, so it would be a good idea to have both.
