samo Posted October 29, 2005 Share Posted October 29, 2005 Yeah, and depending on the meatiness of the tread as well, and how soft the compound is (i.e. a tire that wears faster will generally start larger), and whatever the manufacturer feels like. So, "much" wider is 1cm? 225mm is 8.85inch, so 225 wide tyres are only .35 inch wider then 8.5inch tyres. Sorry, just had to post that.
