TheSubaruJunkie
There are only 2 styles, Gen1 and Gen2. Both gen's should all share the same rear gate for each gen. (ie, 82 should swap with 86, and 77 should swap with 80, but not between Gen's) Not sure about dimensions. But Gen1 is 77,78,79,80 & 81, Gen2 is 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87 & 88. -Brian

XSNRG
WOW, more pictures and tech write up that green Brat! The white one is very nice too, we don't see many in that condition around here, most are well used. There was a third Brat, although the '82 is a Gen II, it is unique in that it was the only Gen II brat with the dual headlight grille and the third eye. Adam N.D.J.
Oh yeah, for that green Brat, I think that I would be willing to give up the 3-dr, the Gen 1 Brat, both wives, and a pair of ER27's. hehe. Hey Tony, if'n you need to measure up a Gen I tailgate to do work with, I still have my Gen I Brat that you can work with.
eyesore
If an Aussie vehicle is 25yrs old or more, it can legally be imported to the U.S. Shipping typically runs 4-5 K. Make the owner an offer he can't refuse! (include pic of wife, any arms/legs to be traded.)
