Only time you'll have to change anything (other than lifting your car), is when you put large tires on, then you have to start cutting.

but would i have to change my engine or drivetran

Engine + computer + wireharness.

Even if it's an XT4 NA I wouldnt bother with a motor swap. EA82 MPFI will have

plenty of power to move a lifted XT body and upto 30" tires.

whats a xt4 im new to the subaru thing this is my first subaru

The 4 cylinder or the 4 cylinder turbo is an XT or an XT-Turbo respectively

The XT-6 has the 6 cylinder, a 2.7, basically the 4 cylinder with 2 extra cylinders.

so all i need to buy is a lift kit, rims, tires, turbo and thats all

yea, I only know of one guy running an EA82T on a lifted car...vanislru

and if you're talking about converting your car to turbo, it's alot more complicated, almost as complicated (as far as wiring is concerned) as an H6 swap....not to mention exhaust, oil, coolant lines, intake, etc.

whats a EJ engines

Well you don't need a turbo, its only if you buy a turbo car. I don't think there are to many people running turbos in lifted subaru's most people are putting EJ engines in them.
