PeterD
Hey guys i just steped up and bought a weber 32/36 carb off ebay. guy said it was off of his bmw 2002 and needs a possible rebuild. also from the look of it it has a water choke. is the water choke that reliable. i don't mind having to plumb in some water lines, to make it work. if it dosn't work i'll end up converting to a manual choke. also it won't be going on anytime soon. i need to locate an adapter and rebuld kit, also see if my jets are ok for my application. there it is... my baby:brow:
Jerry DeMoss
Nice score.I saw rebuild kits on ebay for those carbs. Also same with adapter plates or get one from redline.
Subarian
I just bought a rebuild kit from Wildpac for 27 with the shipping. Mine has an electric choke- it's a lot easier to work with, but the water choke should be OK, if you don't want to change it.
Snowman
You can also convert to electric choke very easily. I think Redline Weber has a conversion kit for a just a few bucks.
