dariusbd
While changing lanes, my 1996 Outback got rear-ended, resulting in one end of the rear bumper getting cracked and dented. The body shop tells me that attempting to reverse the dent will result in the bumper breaking. I find that hard to buy since it looks like one ought to be able to undo the dent just like one would a dent in the body of the car. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks. d:)
tunered
if its the hard abs plastic they might have a point, use a heat gun or hair dryer and warm it up and push out,the longer it stays there the harder it is to get out.
subie94
is it dented on the corner.then i read somewhere here that if you have them remove the bumper or cover and use a heat gun to warm or heat up the area around the dent, they can (pop) the dent out. read it here-http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=46989
