simbey1982 Posted November 27, 2005 Share Posted November 27, 2005 Hello all, I have a 92' Legacy SS Upgraded to boost etc. I have had it about 8 months and have enjoyed it. As of late though it started to feel a little gutless,,,now it is starting to lurch when i take off in any gear. Its hard to explain but the car surges then lets off surges lets off and jerks around....Any ideas???? I was pondering a fuel filter or a TPS any ideas?? simbey1982 Posted November 29, 2005 Author Share Posted November 29, 2005 ive really only been driving on a flat...what it feels like is someone who doesnt know how to drive a clutch and it lurches back and forth...but the clutch is newish and feels fine...and it feels sluggish... beezer Posted November 29, 2005 Share Posted November 29, 2005 I would look at all the regular stuff ie. fuel filter, air filter, PCV valve, plugs, wires. If I had to take a guess I might say the fuel filter or PCV valve. Is the "CEL" on? Maybe take a look at the spark plugs, see if it is running lean, rich or whatever. simbey1982 Posted November 30, 2005 Author Share Posted November 30, 2005 turbo spins up evenly and works great....im at stock boost right now still Sounds like i should take a look at the plugs....any recommendations for plugs in the turbo?? i use bosch platinum 2's in my impreza but....? SuBrat84 Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 I would definately start with plugs and wires... NGK plugs for sure and maybe a nice set of 8mm wires if you can find them.
