guess it depends on the definition of running and non-running...

legacy wagon - daily driver

xt6 - runs, just won't drive because i'm in the middle of the longest tranny swap EVER

xt6 - runs and drives but no title and so rusty I'd be afraid to drive on street.. this is a parts car

xt6 - runs and drives but front control arm is fubar'd due to it lashing out at a honda

five subarus total:

97' legacy wagon L: burnt out parts car

91' legacy wagon LS: runs, drives, street legal

90' legacy sedan LS: runs, drives, street legal

79' brat: runs, drives but not really, broken tranny mounts, not street legal

78' wagon: runs, drives, leaky brakes, not street legal,

On the ranch there are all sorts of cool old rigs, ~75% run and drive, by far my favorite is the 42' ford 2 ton dump truck, inline six, 31 mph on the highway, double clutch and all. A true goliath if I ever met one.

82 hatchback - parts car

84 wagon - parts car

Two 84 Turbo wagons - nice but not running, next spring's projects

84 wagon - dog hauler and local ski rig

83 FWD sedan - gets me from home (Renton) to work (Everett) four days a week.

That's six. Two that run regularly, two that I hope will run soon, and two that definitely will never run again. All are parked in my yard, and I don't have a big yard ! ! ! Probably a good thing. If I had a bigger yard, I'd probably have more Subarus.

I also have a nice 84 Toyota Landcruiser that is my trip and tow rig and for hauling around what won't fit in my Subarus. It doesn't get driven much.

Well, my '88 wagon runs quite well, except for my little timing belt tensioner incident last week....but I fixed it the next day, thanks to the parts cars:

'92 loyale 3AT FWD, awaiting D/R swap from:

'85 gl wagon, very much parted out, looks way worse than this pic

At home, and mine:

'86 Lifted Wagon - Runs, drives, and shines!

'87 RX - Runs, drives, boost +10!

'00 RS - Runs, drives, awesome in snow (thanks to Syphon's Hakka's)

At Home, not mine (belongs to Danbob):

'89 RX wagon - Runs, drives, almost as fast as my RX

Mine, but not at home:

'83 Brat - Runs, drives, currently parked in a nice warm garage... Thanks Syphon!

I'm proud to say, that every Subaru I own Runs, and Drives. Its been a long time since i've been able to say that. Woo!

I've got two(one old, one new).

1988 GL-10 "Draggin' Wagon", EA82T, fulltime 4wd, 5spd manual - Running; but need to replace oil pump seal.

2002 WRX Wagon- Runs like a Ostrich; sprints like a Cheetah, but still purrs like a kitten.

Numbchux, I think I'm going to cry when you send the GL to the crusher.:(

Hmmm. Seems as though I have a wagon fetish! Cheers!!!

I have 7 in all, listed in order of purchase over the past 10 or 11 months.

90 Legacy LS wagon, Dead battery but other wise a runner.

91 Legacy L wagon, Parts car. NoN Runner.

91 Legacy L wagon, My daily driver.

84GL wagon, waiting for lift & EJ22/d/r5speed transplant. Presently not running.

86GL wagon, Parts car. Non Runner.

89GL10 wagon, Daily runner back up.

91 Legacy L wagon, Runs but is missing a couple gears.

So, 3 that I would trust driving regulary. 1 I could drive in an emergency. And 3 that don't move under their own power. Plus I have a 92 F150XLT 4X4 that I use for hauling and trailer work. And lets not forget the 71 Datsun 510!

One: Running and registered Justy

Two: Running and registered XT6es

One: Running and registered XT6 in the driveway (not mine)

One: Running and registered Forester (my dad's)

One: Running and soon to be registered Loyale

About ten that'll move under their own power

Two GL-10s that won't (one wrecked, one rusted), one parting XT, one 3-door with no brakes and interior but that will run and only has 74K, and I think that about covers it...

Me too...but it served well, and fell victim to Iowa/Minnesota Road salt...and it's parts have become invaluable to keeping my '88 wagon alive as the '85 only had ~140k on it, while the '88 has ~225k on it, but isn't rusted out.

and don't worry, I think I got most of the parts ;)
