Sway bar disconnects

Featured Replies

I've been wanting to figure a way of making these. I tell you what, if i get around to designing somthing that might work, you'll be the 2nd to know.

if you're thinking of just disconnecting the swaybar from the links that should be as easy as replacing the bolt with a bolt/pin setup, right? maybe with some washers smacked in there...

I think the link itself needs to be removable, with some way of holding the bar up out of the way.

why's that? for along time, before I actually got around to taking off the y-pipe etc. I just took out the bolts, worked fine. I carried the bolts so I could put them back in if I wanted to...but never did...so I took of the whole bar

I bet you could just do it on one side....for the same results....
