had to do some beatin' to get them to not rub. Also had to add some washers to act as spacers, cuz they were rubbing on the rear struts just barely. The washers were just barely too big, so I wrapped tape around the studs to center them for balance. Totally ghetto fab, but it works fine.

I'll put up some daylight photos tommorow.

Handles like it's on rails!! lol The swampers are a *little* worn.

Thanks Kyle, I'm all grins tonight.

That looks awesome! way to go, and good choice on the tires, I love swamper ssr's on the street, they are way soft and sticky. I used to have some 35" bfg mudders on my jeep, I could do a smoke show from hell with them on there but when I went to a 33" ssr I have never been able to break them loose on pavement.

looks sweet! :slobber: gotta love the one behind it too...:brow:

That truck behind it is the one I sold to Marty. He blew up the rear end, so it don't go no where now. And he's out of town. I'm beginning to hate it.

that is so SICK!!! you gota make a sweet bumper now

No. My Toy's got a sweet bumper on it, it's my offroader. The Swampers are mostly for s h ! t s and giggles. Had to buy them when they came up for sale.

Are you going to put them to good use? When are you going to test them? Huh? Huh? :brow:

Probably just for snow. I'd like to score a new set between now and WCSS8.

I've had them a few times on Soobs. These are actually the set that was on the last lifted hatch I had. Being a little bald, they really stick.

HOTT! good work zap. What size are those? and how much trimming did you have to do to fit them?

No new trimming, just a little tickle with the BFH where you can't see it.

I'll put up better photos today. I wanna try to find a stock OBS to park next to.

cool! but wait... do you have a lift in there? or is that just the swampers? (i could have bought swampers, but I opted against them due to lack of offroadable area in this state :-p )

but nevertheless it looks cool!

hope that we can play again soon in the woods- (before wcss8 ;) )

Thats awesome.

how do you get such ground clearance with just struts and springs?? I know the tires will give you a inch, but where do the other inches come from - what struts/springs do you have?

2-3" i'd say

i got 1.5"-2"? just from the struts, with stock impreza springs...

Wow, that is awesome! Makes me want to lift my Impreza eventually :P

But now you need to splurge on an AA lift kit and get another couple inches :D

Guess you've never read my license plate. That and you missed the part where I said I've got a toy for offroad now. :)

looking forward to seeing it in action on your next offroad vids

No new vids. The camera's sole job is to film my boy.
