scrap487 Posted December 21, 2005 Share Posted December 21, 2005 yeah, I finally got out in the snow with my soob... unfortunately I wasnt able to take any pictures of myself in the car doing cookies and jturns, once my friend gets back from the mountain I'll have some good ones(snow flying like 10ft in the air ) all the ice came from freezing rain, pictures were taken after I had to pry open my doors with a wrecking bar cause they were frozen shut, everything had a good half inch of ice on it... had a lotta fun in the parking lot that day. the pick of the bumper you can kinda see the damage caused by sliding into a rock, the bumper is bent down on one side. I was doing a j-turn and had more traction than I expected and ending up turning really sharp into a rock. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Andyjo Posted December 21, 2005 Share Posted December 21, 2005 it was like that in northern NY the other day, like you said, 1/2" of ice on the car... even w/ it running (after chopping ice for 1/2 hour to get IN the car) it took about 1.5 hours to get all the windows cleared off.
