mcbrat
you can make one that will at least keep the rain out of the inside of your tailgate, so it doesn't rot away from the inside.... you can take on of the side strips, and make some cuts on the back side where it starts to curve, to make it lay flat... I used the exisisting holes in the side trim, and drilled new holes into the top of the gate, and used long screws. I had to drill new holes in the trim at the ends, to held them down, and I alsobent the edges in so not to have any sharp edges.... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/mick/gallery/87brat/PDC_0226.JPG looks okay for a beater, off-roader, etc.... Seahag1978
Mick, you are the King of Innovation. Northguy, I had hoped to have an extra tailgate piece for you. I didn't, but I do have some of the plastic clips if you need them.
northguy
If you have some unbroken, original tailgate clips, I'd love to have them. Cost to 99567. Merry Christmas.
